If you could have a look at your destiny, would you do it? I won't.
I think it is better for us not to know the future. If we knew, we could be tempted not to take the trouble to do things that end up in nothing but that we do while hoping for the best. We should not worry about the future while living, or better still, act at all times not motivated for evil/selfish purposes. In that way, if the future unveils that what we were making is useless, that all our efforts were worthless, we would still have the satisfaction of having had only good intentions while doing it.
